Join wildlife photographers Mark and Cheri Schumann for a photography travel talk that shares stories from their global adventures, the creative process behind the images on display, and the moments that inspired them. From remarkable wildlife encounters to unforgettable places, this talk celebrates photography as a powerful way of seeing and sharing the world.
The photography talk takes place from 4 to 5 PM, followed by a mix and mingle with refreshments from 5 to 6 PM. This is a free event, and all are welcome.
This artist book talk features Mark Schumann, author of Homeless in a Land of Plenty, and explores America’s growing homelessness crisis through black and white film photography and first hand interviews. The program highlights the human stories behind the statistics and includes insight from local nonprofits sharing success stories from their work within our community. The Source food truck will be on site from 10 AM to 1 PM with food available for purchase. This is a free event and all are welcome.
Bring the whole family, gather friends, or plan a date night. Pack camp chairs, blankets, and a picnic to enjoy together. Personal beverages are welcome. Please remember the ELC campus is pet-free and smoke-free.
